The engine for the Gen 5 ZL1 is the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8, code-named LSA, which is based on the LS9 engine from the ZR1 Corvette. So much of the ZL1 is special, an LSA Supercharger engine dropped on a racing chassis. There is always more to be desired and the industry has a lot of power adders to this platform.
